Technical Clarity

More than
calorific value.

Thermal coal evaluation considers material characteristics and industrial process requirements. Share your priority technical parameters.

Discuss your requirements
What does GAR mean?

Gross As Received refers to gross calorific value for coal as received, including its moisture content in that condition.

Which parameters should be provided?

Alongside GAR, you may specify total moisture, inherent moisture, ash, volatile matter, total sulfur, and HGI requirements. Actual values are discussed using the relevant lot analysis.

What about testing methods?

Testing methods, including ASTM references where applicable, are discussed alongside the relevant parameters and analysis reports. Testing methods are technical references.

How should I select a category?

Start with your industrial process specifications. Choose a category as an initial reference, or describe your specific requirements in the inquiry.
